Well i contacted capital seating about a possible group buy of the pole position seats, both in suede/leather and all leather.
This is their response:-
Hi Jonny
Many thanks for your enquiry. We are happy to offer group-buy discounts on any of the Recaro products.
Firstly, all of our website prices are inclusive of a 10% discount from the RRP of seats, and zero discount on the accessories (sidemounts, slide rails etc). So, I am happy to offer the following discount:-
Recaro Pole Position's ABE - Simulated Black Leather / Dinamica Suede Black
Recaro Steel Sidemounts
Subframe kits, which will allow you to continue to use the existing slide rails and original 3-point seat belt. These are built specifically for your Renault Clio models.
I will do a deal on the full package of 2 seats half leather / half suede, 2 sub frames and 2 sets of side mounts including VAT and delivery for £1150
A HUGE SAVING OF £335 on normal prices!
Collection of seats is also available, and is free of charge.
Important note - we have been informed this week that Recaro are undergoing a massive organisational change, due to a corporate takeover. As a result, they are looking at changing their business & marketing strategies for the foreseeable future, and sadly this will be having an impact on the availability of aftermarket seats. Whilst we will still be able to purchase them from 2012 onwards, there is a substantial price increase. All Recaro seats are to increase in price by approximately 40%! This puts us in a very difficult situation, but sadly it is unavoidable. So, if you were looking to go ahead with a group buy, we require all orders to be finalised BEFORE December 16th. After this, I will have to review all of the prices offered.
I appreciate that, with Christmas around the corner, this could be a deal breaker for many group members, but regrettably we not able to avoid this. We are, however, happy to offer deposit payments on orders. So, we can accept a 50% payment on orders on the day of order, with 50% to follow when the seats arrive into stock, most likely in the new year. This may help members budget better around the upcoming holiday period.
