Next group buy launched!

***Recaro Sports Seats***

Lets be honest the standard V6 seats are seriously lacking. Pulled straight from a 182 they do not befit the ultimate clio!
When cornering you have to hang onto the steering wheel due to lack of sufficient side bolsters.
They are too soft, and chassis "feel" is lost.
Also seat position is much too high even on its lowest setting.

We are in final negotiations but are looking to offer £100 EACH off the list price of ANY seats from the current Recaro "tuning" catalogue.
http://www.recaro.com/index.php?id=234&region=1&L=2

Example Sportster CS in half leather £750inc VAT down to £650inc VAT.

Also sub frames £105inc VAT reduced down to £90inc VAT

FTR fitting inc side airbag resistors is £105inc VAT

So we are looking at the approx equivalent of free fitting or free sub frames.

All we need are 5 pairs of seats to qualify for the discount! After me that’s 4!

And to be clear we DO NOT all have to have the same type of seats!

Get your names down!

Cheers

I am seriousley tempted by a pair of the cs range, they look awesome in the new clio f1 special and even better in the audi rs4, but the pictures on recaro s website dont look as good, have gone off cobra misano as sore some at the weekend in an corsa they looked too bulky,

how long do we have on this peter,

do i contact scotty direct to ask questions?

Just post up the questions and i'll get you answers.

Group buy is open for as long as necessary within reason.

I'm amazed this is not more popular. This is a great deal! :(

Peter :D

I thought it was gonna be a lot more popular too given the amount of people have said they would like some new seats. [smilie=dunno1.gif]

Right, questions then

£90 for subframes is that each or per pair

FTR fitting kit at £105 is that each or per pair of seats , without meaning to sound too stupid ,like i usaly doo, what the hell is a ftr fitting kit any way

Has anybody on here seen a pair of the cs range in any car outside of an rs4 or a clio f1 special do they look beter than they do on recaros home website.

do recaro do any sort of personalisation service like cobra do where by they will stitch in anything you want into the seat eg V6 CLIO :approve:

Thanks for your efforts Peter [smilie=hi.gif]

Subframes are £90 for each seat.

Fitting is £105 for a pair of seats.

FTR is shorthand for "For The Record".

Some example prices to follow.

No idea about stictching on the seats.... :(

Peter :D

sorry to sound stupid AGAIN, when you say fitting, is that as in scotty fitting them into the car if so that would be a bargin :D

HOW MUCH FOR TRENDLINES PETER [smilie=cool.gif]

Not sure on the trendlines but according to Colin G's thread "rrp is about £1355".

So we get £1355-£200+£180+£105=£1440

Thus approx £150 less than the Sportster CS

Peter :D

ring capital seating..

they RRP the trendlines at £1400 on their website..

without even begging they offered me a pair, plus frames, plus resisters, plus delivery..for £1175!

but i went for pole positions!

(edited to add sub frame price to pole positions!)

that is a cracking price for the pole positons...I paid £1052 for them in alcon/leather with sidemounts

however...fitting will be different for these surely..you need subframes and also sliders if you fancy them to be able to slide back and forwards,

side mounts will not bolt directly to a clio floor with great ease

I am having yozzasport make me up some custom low subframes and sliders..which the sidemounts will go on to

that is..if recaro ever get their damn finger out and send them! [smilie=evil.gif]

Doh! Your right. I missed out the sub frames from the price on the pole positions.

I'll amend my post! Thanks for pointing out my stupidity! [smilie=drunken_smilie1.gif]
