5 GT Turbo Rear Tailgate Glass fitting

Any tips on re fitting the glass back into the rear tailgate ?? with no damage to the paint ???

This sounds like advice from our very own bodywork king @Haz

You place some nylon cord in the grove that metal lip goes into all around the glass & rubber seal assembly over lapping the cord at the bottom.
Apply some washing up liquid to rubber, place the assembly in tail gate with the bottom lip just over the metalwork then with a second person holding the glass and you in the boot pull the string so the rubber lip lifts up & over the metalwork all the way round.
At the same time the helper out side gently pushes the glass down & slaps it to seat it in position.
