Random Day

So yesterday was pretty random, i started the day nipping around picking up some bits and bobs for some of the cars at work, i ended up coming home with two Clio v6 Trophy race car cylinder heads all ported and ready to go!! [smilie=yay.gif] and what more they only cost me the cash i had in my pocket!! Now looking around for some cams, any ideas? anyone used any that they where impressed with?

Wasn't there a set on Ebay mate? Ive never fitted different cam profiles to my vee but have had good results from Kent Cams on other cars. They always seemed to help alot and told me what the was best for my particular application at the time. Might be worth giving them a shout to see if they can help?

for a road car i would stick with std cams, seems abit daft i know but, if the heads have been worked properly the increased low lift flow will be much increased giving better torque and driveability, fit a lumpy cam and you could destroy this in favour of peak power that you will use once a barley harvest.
are the heads with std ports or have these been altered? there were some kicking about that had been radically altered that diddn't actually work. also look if the ports have been sleeved.
