yeah the thermostats on them are a complete nightmare, ive replaced several, you can pop it out and test it in a pot of hot water to make certain it is that, or if anyone has ever used rad weld or anything on it before that can create some blocking of the system

I fecking hate rad weld now. ok,if your fucked in middle of no-where to get you home. but you should'nt be going far anyhow if your coolant like mud.

nah its not worth throwing money at it end of the day like you said its 18 year old so i wouldnt make anything back when i come to sell it
