Mk1 Renault 5 Gordini Turbo with spares
http://www.renaultclassiccarclub.com/An ... _small.JPG
This car was built from the shell up using new and reconditioned parts by Mark Fish Motorsport. The shell was stripped treated and re-sprayed in black. It has undergone 2 years of extensive no cost spared development whilst racing in the Classic Group 1 touring cars. The car is in excellent condition inside and out and is fitted with a custom cage, plumbed in 4ltr fire extinguisher system, electric cut off as required, improved rear end, 8 race old AVO shocks. The brakes have been dramatically improved using fabricated callipers. Engine has just undergone being re shelled, re ringed and had a service, making it ready for another reliable season of racing. The engine has had many improvements and modifications including an up rated blow system turbo, improved cooling system for oil and water, race clutch, drive shafts, electrics insulated and improved, better fuel delivery. It generates around 170bhp reliably and really packs a punch. This was the second fastest car on the circuit in the monsoon conditions at Mallory park this season and in the right hands is fully capable of running at the front of the hottest contested group C in the Classic Touring Car Championship.
I have a host of spares including the V5 so it could be put back onto the road and used as a track day car.
This has to be the fastest MK1 Turbo around a circuit (see the ctcrc web site for times) first to see will definitely want to buy.
