R5 Wiper Problem

The wipers on the 5 won't return to the bottom when you turn them off, you need to turn them off at the right time.

Whats going on there? Relay?

I think that relay must be some how broken... Had u tried to search on service book for R5?

same in the silver 19 chet, i took the relay out and cleaned it put it back in and it worked, failing that just bang in a new one

I think it is really the relay

i've had this on a clio, turned out it was a fuse (yes, it had a separate fuse for the "return" feature)..

I haven't even checked the fuses so i'll have a look tomorrow.

Why couldn't the Viper vipe'r nose? Cos the Adder 'add 'er hankerchief


Only time I had this problem the only fix was swapping the wiper motor.

Incidentally I have the same problem now which I was hoping to sort last weekend but I broke my foot instead.
