5 Turbo 1 and 2 R5 Turbo Resto-Mod

Hello! I have a customer who has raced in many different series and now has quite the car collecting addiction. The latest is he dropped off a 1980 R5 and said go to town, virtually unlimited budget. the car is fully disassembled and the tub has been very well painted, nothing else is complete. Open discussion on what parts are the best for each system, brakes to turbo manifolds etc. We have ordered custom KW coilovers that eliminate the torsion bars and will be sending the interior out to be re done, likely order some recaro classics. I'd like to make the car roll first, so whats the deal with suspension parts and brake parts? aftermarket control arms or just blast these and send them to powdercoat?

Hey guys, trying to get a manual for this bad machine. Everything i've found to decode the tags shows a letter before the vehicle type, but mine shows 8220 for vehicle type. Any decoding these would be much appreciated.

8220 denotes it a turbo (1) not a turbo 2

I am trying to see what I can do for the brake system, on 3s the show ap brake kit with 280mm rotors for front and back. But the maxi brakes are listed as 300mm, does anyone know what work best?

I can't find a single picture of an turbo using these but they came with the car, can anyone confirm these are not original? I am also trying to find an H4 conversion for the headlights, any links to projects or product doing this?
