Megane R26-swivel bearings seals

Hi gents,

Just about to replace my swivel bearings on my 07 R26 (owned from new) but finding it hard to source the seals. Does anyone know of a supplier / part number for these either oem or aftermarket. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Any pics or measurements? If we find a supplier we can add them to the club shop with the bearings.

If I had the measurements Dave I'd go to the local bearing manufacturer, not got the hubs off my car yet but wanted to replace as a matter of course..
It would be good to hear from folk that have already replaced these and where they have sourced them from.

The part number is on the net somewhere for the seals - i found it ages ago. You can order them online fairly cheap if you find it. I did not bother replacing them as they were fine.

I have just scraped this from the meganesport archive.

"AFAIK bearings are INA BK4520 + bearing insert INA IR404520 + oring seal 52mm/4mm"

Can anybody confirm?

That is what i found before. The bearings are correct i imagine the seals will be ok.

INA is just a brand. Its my understanding there are multiple brands.

The original seals are square section a bit like a smaller version of a crank seal. A normal o ring may work - needs to be tested.

From what I remember the swivels come as a complete unit with no individual parts, but I will check.

The hub/alloy upright comes complete from renault for £180ish from memory, seals or swivel bearings not available seperate.
