R26 powered X85 Cup Racer build

Hi,

First post been reading a while!

I recently bought an X85 cup racer and I plan on removing the R26 engine and box that's currently in my 200 Cup Road Car.
The X85 is already missing the sadev and has a h pattern box (197 box) so i'm not ruining a good car!!

Cup racer runs a DTA S60 - and i'm planning on doing this in a couple of weekends time once I have time!

Anything i should look out for? I plan on using the Meg Engine 300hp/300t and R26box NDO020 with meg driveshafts and all the cup racer subframe & mounts where possible - along with the DTA S60 and DTA loom.

Sounds like a great project to watch.

Dont know if you want to go for more power but RSTuning have some rods and pistons for a reduced rate at the mo - For Sale - CatCam rods and pistons

hopefully should be! I'll take a look at the classifieds.

First road block is the cup racer uses a throttle cable and the R26 uses drive by wire! preference is to use a throttle cable as the DBW pedals wear out!
