Question for those who have mk2 rear lights on their mk1's

Am I right in thinking that there is only one rear fog light ??

As only my right one works, looked in the manual as I thought a fuse may have gone & it only says rear fog light (not plural)

It's strange as the mk2 lights I fitted came with four bulbs in the holder on left hand side - where as the holder I took out (on the left hand side) only had three bulbs :s

So for those with a mk1 with mk2 rear lights. how many rear fogs have you got ?

I have mk2 lights on my mk1. The lights were already fitted when i bought my car. - Bonus.

Will have a scan at them 2mz and tell you what mine are doing. :approve:

got to be a record of thread resurrection but, how many fogs should light on a ph1 rear? (whatever light set up.) I have one only working despite wiring being intact to the non working side there is no supply to it. My son had the same issue on his 1.2 and it baffled me so much I ended up running a lead across from the working side to get it going but am now wondering if there is only one. so... can a ph1 owner please go and turn his fog lights on and answer this question for once and for all.

PH1 only has one rear fog.

You're only legally required to have the driver's side one.

Handbook says Or nothing.

Mk1 with mk2 lights , bought it with them on , but I can confirm only the offside fog light lights up on mine.

Thanks, its odd that all the wiring and everything is there but somehow the lead in the loom at the other end is not connected to anything.

wrong on all counts there, 2 filaments for the fog and reversing light?
