Quadra geabox oil and diff oil

Want to change the oil in the box and diff and seen this on ebay, was wondering if this would be up to the job as seems a good price, any advise most welcome. This is the link i hope it works copy and paste;

I would say that it would be fine, probably better than the oil that came as standard nearly 20 years ago.

Quadra stuff is different to 2wd stuff. Let me check the garage tomorrow for the viscosity.

I think its Ep 90 but i really can't remember.

I got some in the garage, need to do my diff, the gearbox was done a while ago - its probably all leaked out by now LOL!

From Elf catalogs:
Gearbox: Tranself NFP 75W-80
Differential: Tranself syntese FE 75w-140

I beleive Tranself TRX80 was the original spec from Renault/Elf but speak to Sibley as he has an alternative product

Have checked previous posts and seen that mr sibley uses valvoline durablend is this stuff much different ti that what i have posted. Will wait to see whatr mr sibley says before ordering any oils. Thanks for the help...................

I believe you are correct, but the TRX80 has been replaced by whatever I wrote...

Thats what i've used on everything Quadra for quite a while now, with no reported issues. Box and Diff as well.

If you found something that exactly matches the recommended then go for it buddy, I use the Valvoline because my supplier doesn't deal with ELF. It's the equivalent, basically. I stick with the same place cos the prices are lower than Katie Price's morals
