Quadra box

What if anything can be done to ensure that my box is strong enough for big power, are there any 4wd box's out there that can be adapted to fit (cossie?) or will a standard rebuilt box do the job?

Around 30psi of boost on a 286 cam so between 350-400bhp, someone told me that the quadra box wouldn't be to happy taking that kind of abuse.

A single piece input/primary shaft is a wise move, Renault designed the UN boxes with a 2 piece shaft originally. Have been known as a weak spot. Andy and a few others are looking into them but they arent cheap at all!

BS !
the UN1 and UN7 are very strong baby's. Its not that i'm driving a std car and got only 1 broken so far. Dont forget, they are 20 years old and still get abused every single time. Btw, its not the bhp that kill's a box, its the torque. Above 500 Nm it becomes critical.
