Anybody got a known working Quadra ABS computer - I have a spare working one from another car that I will be using to narrow it down to whether its the computer that is dead or something in the wiring.

Just making an initial inquiry!

cheers

Oooppss - you can tell it early, I put this in the for sale section not the wanted...balls

spare as in to check what is up - if it is the computer that is shot then I will need a replacement

maybe spare wasnt the word I needed..doh:icon_redface:

Dan, Quadra's have diognosing on there abs. If i can find the paper work i will go over it with you.

P.S IF its the 5 G senser then your screwed as there like hens teeth and FUCJKING expensive.

It's the 2 pins in the brown XR plug, in the middle I think.

Can't find my electronic copy of the procedures.:icon_exclaim:

BTW guys, its not the ABS computer AFAIK

I have tested all wheel sensors and the odd ball is the rear near side, its completely dead no resistance reading what so ever!

Im gonna be checking mine ...... what resistance reading should i be looking for if they are broken ? ...

it will be open circuit if broken, the good sensors I was getting readings of about 1.07 - 1.10ohms

indeedy, you will have to jack the car up to get to the rears, or someone on here might have the pinout of the plug at the ecu end (under the passenger seat) that way there is no jacking involved.
