21 Turbo Quadra 4wd system

where would you advise to get it mapped ?
Very difficult to get it mapped in the UK, there isn't anyone that specialises in the right EPROM. There is a place in belgium but mapping and travel is almost as much as a standalone ECU. In the UK, i'd suggest getting an Adaptronic E420D ECU fitted and mapped by EFI Parts in Runcorn. I run one on mine.

Value...depends on condition and spec. If its a proper genuine Europa Cup you'd probably see a couple of hundred quid, maybe more, from the French guys, all the way down to a bad condition copy which would be worth next to nothing, £20 to use as a sample for copying maybe.

Such a shame, doesn't look in bad nick still.

Clearing out some emails and found this, may tempt someone?
Although I'm not sure if the Quadra was completely broken for spares or is still available?

"£750 for the complete car just needs the engine putting back in and the screen changing other than that it would fly through an mot!
Yes but not been on the club for years now I must admit
Cheers
Dale"

at a guess @Haz ? He was selling one a while back
Andy, Haz was selling a genuine europa cup cam, I know that because he purchased it from me and I purchased it from Jo in Belgium. Jo got it when he cleared out most of the 21 turbo Renault sport items from Benny Reapers. This cam came in a wooden wine box with the original cardboard tube inside with the Alpine Renault Sport part number attached. It matched to the Europa cup parts catalogue. I'm certain Haz had it measured by Scoff as he sent me the plots for the lift and duration. From memory you cannot reprofile a standard 21 turbo cam to europacup cam specs, you would need a billet to machine it onto.

Haz any chance of finding those photos? I think I deleted the text message some years ago!

Could well be the one Stu Harrington sold. Did it come in a wooden box?
I'm fairly sure Stu's cam came from somewhere else and wasn't a genuine europa cup item.

As for value if it is genuine europa cup and it can be proved then I paid £200/£250 something like that, to the right person using it for the right engine setup it should be still be worth that all day long. However if its for a fast road 21 I'm certain that one of Piper/Newman cams's re-profiles of the standard cam will make decent figures and a nicer road engine, the bonus is the regrinds are usually cheaper.

I guess its about how you want to make power.
More area under the graph needed then.

Because [HASHTAG]#racecar[/HASHTAG] isnt always the best solution it seems

My meg was easier to drive ( but not faster ) when

40

rather than

3549

Have to keep on the gas for longer.

Dont regret it though ! :)

Ok, email the pic from my phone and open it on PC to upload it lol

This is how mine left Scoff, hopefully the GT2860RS will help, as should the planned mainfolds.

@stavers I've been told that going for a 'swedish' style plenum should improve response and yes ultimately they'll improve numbers. I also figured that given the heads been ported by 8mm on exhaust side, I ought to have a manifold to match.

I'm sure if anyone on here can educate me its you ;)
