QS Exhaust + MOT Issues

Hi Guys,

Has anyone had issues with passing their MOT after having a QS Sports exhaust fitted?

I assume the Viper induction kit causes no issues too!?!?!?

Just a guess that if you have no emission light showing then you should be ok with the exhaust.

Perhaps someone like Peter can comment on this.

Never had an issue with my car! :approve:

Swapping the back box has no effect on the emissions. Neither will an induction kit.

Only issue would be if they were worried over excessive noise. AFAIK you are not supposed to alter your car exhaust to make it more noisey. It officially makes many aftermarket exhausts officially illegal. However I am not aware of a car ever failing MOTs for that alone.

Shouldn't be a problem. The emissions light tends to come on before any MOT failure anyway. For exmaple sports cats can light the light on the dash for cars that still pass the MOT.

Just got my car through the MOT this morning!

(I'm going away with my lady and the Vee this weekend with the car and was worried I'd have to leave the car behind due to a failed MOT!! All that worry for nothing [smilie=hide.gif] ...)
