Purple V6 in Austrian Press?

Sadly the photos are tiny, but theres what looks like a purple v6 in this Austrian test against a cooper S in September 2003.

At first i thought it was an illiad reflecting a purple glaze in the sun, but look at the interior photo, looks very purple!

pre production colour that didnt make it? surely it cant be one of the never been spotted austrian Petrol Blues? not green enough??!!

As above, transmission tunel looks Illiad.

While your engine is out you should have your Vee sprayed that colour.

Defo Illiad blue, camera makes it look similar to petrol blue though
