Prototype Mk1 on PH

Shame Phil has decided, for what ever reason, it was time to part with TOM0001. Real nice guy.

I wander why he didnt try to sell on the forum first? Such a unique car!

We just need to find out from Brett how much he could have got it for to have a better picture of pricing ...

Not quite sure how professional the ad looks with spelling and grammer but maybe won't impact it selling ...

I find it odd how the forum doesn't know about this 1st seing although it's the v6 that it is etc.

We do, Brett eluded to it the other day and I posted :approve:

I guess though it's upto a seller as to what market place they choose, who they tell and where they get the best deal ...

I'm glad he didnt advertise iron the forum, I would of been so dedperate to buy it!!!

The ad is very odd and puts me off giving them my wedge.

Bloody lovely car though!!! Bet they try and sell it for more than twr did. Was on 10k less miles then aswell.

It did have a few easily reversed modifications on it.

Shame that Phil has had to move on but someone will get a stunning car :approve:

Guys,

It was indeed a very sad day for me letting go of my pride and joy but for practicality reasons only i had to move on.i found it very difficult to sign the car over to the dealer. The only reason for not listing on here was the guy had what i wanted and agreed to a straight swap making the change easy for me.
The origional spoiler is back on and i supplied origional steering wheel and airbox to replace the Cup Racer wheel and Piper Evo Kit should the buyer wish to return to standard. The Quicksilver is still on but the perspex bulkhead is also fitted to eliminate the cabin noise.
I know the dealer had 3 specialists interested in taking the car off him and retailing for around 12K.But after a chat he agreed to offer the car himself to potential buyers for a short time before dealing with them.I assume he will be asking between what he gave me and the 12K the specialists are going to want for it.
The dealer works on quick sale, small profit margins and is an honest straight talking bloke.I know he was worried about being stuck with such a specialist car but i managed to convince him there are potential buyers out there for such a car rather than passing it onto another specialist dealer.
I just hope someone manages to secure a deal and TOM00001 gets the home and care it deserves.
I will badly miss the coming meets and friendly banter from such a wonderful group of dedicated owners and i am just thankful that i finally did get to own my dream car although the dream is temporarily over for me.
I hope i can gatecrash a meet somewhere in the summer to catch up as a visitor but until then i wish you all well.

Sorry to hear you had to get rid of your dream car. Thanks for the update!

I hope it goes to a collector and is kept in mint condition. Id snap it up in a second if I could. Someone buy it and sell it to me in 6 months!!! Please!!!! :)
