My gear nob has some light scratches, is the finish on the nob an applied finish or just brushed alloy? I'm wondering if I can polish out the scratches or would I be polishing off the finish, ooooh polishing my nob heheh
i had the same prob i just pulled it off, you have to pull so hard you fill your gonna brake something. got some silver spay paints gave it a light coat and let it dry sprayed some clear lacar. sorted.
Some bloke rubbed his dirty big hands all over mine, I tried loads of lube on it, but it was just too stiff and I ended up worn out trying. Used some scratch X and a gentle polish in the end.
I will try and drop into ren to get the exact price but at 400 !! No way, I would normally spend what ever is needed to keep my V mint, it is treated beter than the wife and wants for nothing, however I think it may be wanting for a new knob that its not going to get at that price !!!
