Probelm with my centre consol ??

Got another problem with my V6.

I think there is a problem with my centre consol as when I put the drivers seat right back (as I am quite tall) the back adjustment handle on the seat rubs against the side of the centre consol but on the passenger side there is loads of room, you can even get your hand right down there.

Is it just the fact that the consoles are this way or is mine on the piss ???

If mine is off centre can I move it over at all ????

This is exactly the same as mine.

Must be a design fault!!!

The seat adjuster mechanism is rubbing against the centre console and
has caused a deep cut in the paint. I have now wedged a thin layer
of foam between the seat and the console....not good!!!

It's a special feature for right hand drive vehicles, and the best part, it comes free!!!

The odd thing is though, on my car it only appears on the passengerseat, which is actually a nicer feature.

One of the reasons my wife will not drive my V6 is the fact that I cannot adjust the drivers side seat rake (back handle)...

It is stuck solid... anyone had this problem, do I either:
a) Pull /push as hard as possible and then hear a crack...
b) Hit it with a Hammer!
c) Have to take out the seat and check all internals...
d) get a new wife!

Please say a or b...
