:race: Afternoon V6 forum!

It's been a long time since I last logged in on here and have noticed that this forum is still going strong!

Thought I'd say hi and catch up with a few topics.

Prices of these things now [smilie=icon_eek.gif] .
I do regret letting my Vee go 4 years ago.

Anyways I hope people have the Vee's out today as it's clear one!

I have the itch again and as always it's timed badly AGAIN! :approve:

Welcome back! They do get under your skin these things. The summer of car meets/events is just around the corner, a perfect time to re-enter the fold. :approve:

Cheers guys..

Been looking the last few days and what the hell is going on with the prices!!
Excellent for the Vee's but a bugger for to get back into them. [smilie=icon_eek.gif] . I've enquirer about one this morning so just waiting for a response. ;)

It's definitely a bitter pill to swallow - but do pounce on a good one. Prices aren't going to go down in a hurry.
; )

As a recent purchaser [December] - I concur - and I should have bought one when they were half the price 3 years ago!.

But my, what fun they are.... but just HOW do you long-term owner types:- a) manage to restrict yourself to such low mileages and b) manage to stay within limits all the time ?? :)

I cannot seem to resist blasting it.

A) Buy an M3

B) After M3, the Clio feels stupidly slow lol

Cue Ali:

A) Buy a R500

B) After R500, the M3 feels stupidly slow lol

(and repeat until NASA Helios 2 space probe reached)...

; )

Seriously though, I've done the opposite. Bought stupidly slow cars and the Vee remains special. Still got your Defender mehere?

We have two tiny engines diesel cars for daily use, the vee feels like a rocket ship in comparison! Makes it feel even more special when you drive it.

For me, the vee has more than enough pace for the road. If it was much faster, I wouldn't get to enjoy the noise at the top of rev range as often.

I've done the slow daily car and I just couldn't hack it.. It was dreadful!

Why spend 95% of your annual drives suffering for the 5% good drives in the Vee?

There is no logic in this for me personally! I like to enjoy every drive I do :approve:

I don't find it bad at all driving slow cars. Traffic is so bad during rush hour, it makes no difference.

Can appreciate its different up your neck of the woods!

Welcome back Gav :salut: good luck with your search hope you get sorted soonish. I've had my Vee 10 years now and covered about 56k miles with driving it most days - it does make for a very special daily driver :race:
