Power Steering Fluid

Can anyone tell me where the reservoir is mounted on the 255? The handbook shows it on the timing belt side of the engine, but it's not there on mine! (Just being lazy - I thought I'd ask first rather than start taking the car to bits to find it!)

Yes it's there, just stick your head in the enginebay when you take off the small enginecover, you lazy b%stard!!

I didn't mean I was that lazy! I've had the covers off & it isn't there!!!
How's it held on? Just wondering if it's come unclipped or the bolt's dropped out & it's fallen off and hanging by the hose somewhere! :?

If it comes off, it should start leaking underneath the car, and you'd lose the powersteering.

It is just underneath the bigger engine cover, about 4 inches away from the front firewall.

Nope! It was there, but I had to take the bigger cover off to get at it. It's mounted quite low down on mine - there's no way it can be topped up (or even seen) without taking the whole top cover off. Oh well - live and learn..... Thanks for the help, Harry
