What's mods have you got Dave to raise your power by the 50odd bhp.

Just curious.

  SOME NICE MODS GOIN ON THERE :d GOTTA GET MINE RR SOON JUST OUTTA INTEREST :d
SORRY I COULDN'T MAKE IT WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF A BEER BOTTLE MOST OF THIS WEEKEND :s

Graphs.

Lovely curves, spoiled by the boost hitting hard enough to spin the wheels (note the massive drops halfway up) even after the upped the wheel load to try and stop it.
237.2Bhp @4918rpm
254.9lb/ft @4839rpm.

Peak power and torque at the same rpm, beautiful :D

Engine internals and manifolds still std, no water or Nitrous injection, Std intercoolers and a ropey fuel pump causing it to lean off at top end....

...I'm happy enough..... :D

How rude of me...

Congratulations to Phil for the highest figure of the day :D only 2bhp in it though

Martin, I got a bit carried away watching CO figures and so on, only took 2 pictures

Morning...

207 bhp@the wheels, 358 N/m (torque)

specs; special comp (fastchip), selfmade exhaust, head flow, stronger gaskets, boost 1.2 (bar)

can somebody tell me how to place a pic (please?)

Sounds like a good time this weekend. Shame i could'nt be there was drowning in beer all weekend.

This allways happens to me not here at the weekend. Just aswell really with a head gasket like mine i'll probably do more damage than good.

Sorry jo a bit naff when it comes to that kind of thing. Just about manage to post a reply. :?

hi jo,,to add a photo, you have two options, if the photo is on your computer, -ckick on add attachment-using the browse option find the photo on your pc,,then follow the intructions,

if the photo is on a website, then you need to know the addess (URL)of the photo -to find this, hold the cursor over the photo, right click on properties, there listed is the URL,, highlight and copy the address,
then when you are using the forum here, first click the url box, paste the address then click the url box again, this will automaticaly provude a link to the photo and it will appear on the forum

hope this helps

Mmmm

My figures were WELL down on previous go at RGS Motorsport rollers - I will have to dig out the paperwork and see how bad it is!!

Any ideas guys - Is the car broken - Or are the rollers reading that far apart - surely not?!

Not gonna lose any sleep over it!

Thanks

GrahamH

It depends on a lot of things.

I could retest my car 20 mins later on the same rolling road and get a different figure.

Stuff

It was quite warm in there, ambient temp can make quite a difference. Also differences in roller calibrations always give cause for argument, although you could have a sensor out over last time or something.
Ive seen a car 'gain' 40bhp from sitting in a garage for 4 weeks....no reason why it couldnt work the other way round too.

someone correct e if i am wrong, but dont these things run self learning ecu's, so if you hasve been taking it steady for a while it will have learnt those settings and would be using them, if you constantly thrashed it, would it not learn different settings and therefore produce more power.

Im sorry but there is no way in the world that my car was 199 bhp. I had a run a few months ago and it was 197 and the car is a hell of a lot quicker now than it was then. Very dissapointing. :x
