Dear all,

I have a friend that does intakes and exhaust in the USA. The brand is Weapon R. He has now started a new brand that makes intakes and exhausts for european cars. They have done intakes and exhausts for golf gti's, a4 2.0t's, etc... I have seen and tested them all. sound quality and performance is great. They are all quality products. They will custom make me a full exhaust (header, downpipe, muffler) for my Mk1 v6. I would like to know if any of you would show any interest in this exhaust. It will be made from full stainless steel.

Assuming quality is good, how many would be interested in it at a price of around 750-800?

Not too sure what grade SS, but quality will not be bad for sure as I can tell them to use a better grade SS. Anyways, I will have it made and then see how it sounds and performs.

...... and looks. ;)

actually for the looks, i cant think of much to do. There's no much of a difference for the V6 exhaust cuz only the tips show. I am planning to get titanium tips.

Any other suggestions?

There may be some owners who prefer looks over perfomance. Nice shiny back boxes might show through? Of course quite a few people remove the grills and centre panel.

The boxes will be chromy/shiny for sure, what I'm saying is design wise I dont think it will be much difference as there is limited space. Certainly wont be something ugly. Idea started with them custom making one for me, but then I told them if it would cost them to make me one, might as well see if any of you guys would be interested, Because production cost will be lower over on this side of the world

no problem, will probably start on it the beginning of may as they are busy doing exhaust for the new golf 32 now

Anybody ordered the new K-Tec twin exhaust and cut the central section of bumper out to show it off?
