Must of forgot to mention that it had been WELL STUFFED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that does help to explain why the headlights aren't the same both sides. [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Are you sure that is the same car? I think the pic of the damaged one is an 06 plate car. There's other pics posted in the vee graveyard section in the gallery of that damaged car & I was pretty sure it's not nev's one.

I was thinking this just because its a yellow car does not mean its his :s This should probably been confirmed and if it cant be the thread deleted

Agreed the car is a beauty and I almost had it myself a couple of weeks ago! Dont let the small bump put you off, nev is a fastidious owner!

Owners are instrumental in ensuring that cars are maintained to the highest standard, counts for everything really. A cars life history is an individual journey (no pun intended) like anything else and it is good to know it for better or worse.

As has been discussed many times though, it might be a different debate if that had been recorded on HPI but it wouldn't change the fact that ... having seen Nevs car and met him, I concur that this is a great car and maintained regardless ...

am not here to create any issues guys & certainly not questioning Kev's or anyone's integrity, just was looking at the car & it's history (as anyone who is researching a car before a potential purchase would......)

this link from the forum/register: v6register.php?i=238&mode=history is what i based my info on

pls correct me if i am wrong & apologies to anyone if i am.....but don't shoot the messenger ;)

as I said it's v.v nice car & if i had the cash ( & it was LHD [smilie=yay.gif] ) I'd be in the market as I'd like a MKII to go with my MKI

I don't think there are any issues Jim, I think it is good if potential buyers have all the facts available, some would be bothered by this and others wouldn't ...

mind you if anyone's got one this colour ( the light blue one ringed in red above ) [album]5080[/album]

.....then i would purchase it & wouldn't mind it be a RHD 8)

I've tried contacting Rick on a number of occasions to find out a little more history about it but to no avail. I'm not sure what you would have like me to have put in the advert?

"I've seen a picture of a Liquid Yellow with some front end damage. I can't be sure if it's mine or not as I can't get hold of the previous owner, but thought I'd mention it just in case?" I hit a fox once while driving it, which resulted in some fibreglass work being required on the bumper.....should this go in the advert?

The car is HPI clear and I've owned it for nearly 5 years, during which time it's been faultless - I'm not sure what else I can say apart from be honest when someone approaches me to buy and say I believe it's had some genuine parts replaced on the front end like many other v6's and that any inspection and test drive is welcome.

As for the 2 headlights not lining up 100%. Can't say I've noticed, though it is a common problem I believe.

lol! This is why you should NEVER post about crashes on a public forum. I would never of known from the pics. Looks mint.

A boy on CS bought an Inferno 182, HPi clear/mint. He had no idea that his car was wrapped hard at the ring! Ooops!

martin,

do you know what the colour is referred to as ? & any idea who it was/any pics ?

have to admit on a mkII it looks awesome but i'd like to look at it in real life, not a photo to see what it's like in the natural light.

thks
