its not there size......

when you fit mk2 alloys to mk1 they need spacers. so i am thinking that the other way round will mean that mk 1 alloys will sit further out on a mk 2.

does that make sence. and i would like to see if the car sits lower. [smilie=icon_cheers.gif]

there was a mk2 that had mk1 wheels on it that was for sale a while back, looked like there was bigger gaps in the wheel arches but apart from that looked pretty much the same. i think the owners now put 18's on it.
