Picture of the month competion

Why don't we run some sort of picture of the month competition.
I know a lot of us have cameras, and varying abilities etc, but it would be good to run a little in house competition.

The winner is decided by everyone else, and the winner gets to choose the proceeding subject.

And for the budding Pro Photographers out there - you are limited to winning twice on the trot, so everyone else gets a chance.

Subjects can be as random as you like, from colour schemes, to macro, landscape, emotions, motoring, wildlife, flora and fauna, portraits, Black & white, still life..........the list is endless.

What are peoples thoughts??

Sounds like a great idea. Perhaps we could have one automotive (Vee's and others) and one non-automotive? I'm certainly up for it if there's sufficient interest.

Yeah i reckon thats a great idea. Got to say Steve, since your stunning photos on the Southern meet, Me and the brother are trying to get a bit better at using our camera but still havent got a clue how to use it properly yet. lol

It took up a lot of time to deal with on the forum with the poll etc, but I am prepared to do something similar.

May I suggest someone starts a topic each month, post one/some pictures and then we have a totally independant person pick a winner? I will add the winner to the main site page.
