Phase 2 Turbo Diesel 19 Breaker.

Not Strictly a tech question but I'm currently breaking a 5 dr turbo diesel 19 hatchback, the complete car. I was just wandering if there are any parts I should hold unto for future reference, parts that are expensive from dealers or interchangeable bit's that could be modified or used on the valver. I'd prefer to keep the car but lack of space dictates:cry: Will the height adjustable steering column fit my ph 1 chamade and would the side skirts be suitable as spares also. I bought the car for the wing mirrors & central locking actuators which I needed but would like to make the most of the parts as possible and not get rid of parts and end up kicking myself and or worst of all end up unnecessarily out of pocket:oops:

Shame your not closer to me, i would have bought loads of things off you.

The steering column is the same as you have on the ph1.

Aside from that theres nothing thats really gonna be any use on the ph1.

Give C>Lemon a shout about the windscreen :)

err apart from that just tiny bits and pieces really depending on how keen you are to store stuff

He's a little farther away than bncrew, who's already offered me his cabriolet windscreen. Thanks for remembering anyway, T.I.B.

Not 100% sure of the windscreen condition or rubbers but I do know the side window trims are scrap. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know. Roughly where are you in Munster?

I think you misunderstood me there. :oops: I meant I will be accepting bncrew's offer, because Antrim is farther away than Wexford. But thanks anyway.

:oops:No worries I just happen to know a guy who goes south regulary on a lorry run and yes I did completely misunderstand you:oops:(y)

@The T.I.B.: no worries. :)

@HBZ 545: Well, I decided that I'd have to drive the car to wherever I was getting the screen as it could easily break mid-journey in someone's boot. So the lorry wouldn't be an issue there. It's no problem though.
