Phase 2 Sump

Will a phase 2 sump fit a phase 1 block?

Are all phase 1 engine and 2 blocks the same? If so all parts interchangeable, eg water pump, pulleys and bearings?

sump, no problem (ph1 has that big sump in 1 piece, ph2 has a the small sump and a piece above it i dont know the name in englisch).

Water pump, yes and no. You may have to break a bit off it, but you'll see what i mean if you get the wrong one lol. Pulleys, yes, bearings, yes, pistons, liners etc yes.

Im not so confident on the sump, the crankcase strengthener bolts on in several places as well as the outer circle of bolts. You'd need to check the ph1 block for the holes in the main caps because, shock horror, I dont know if they're there :lol:
