One for the collector: LINK

Is this the only Phase 1 registered in 2005?! If not, how many such examples exist?

V6 Register records #944 as a follows: "1636 miles when spotted for sale October 2012"

Good to see that such Vees have started to come out of collections :approve:

Not a bad price at all for a collector grade Vee. As always due diligence is necessary but on the face of it this seems like a genuine example..............

Apparently #944 (05-WX-6) has now been sold to a 'foreign a collector', which I presume to mean that the buyer is not based in the Republic of Ireland. Was for sale for Euro 20K (£15,090 last week).

Wonder whether it will turn up for sale somewhere on the continent, (slightly) spruced up, and with a price tag to match.

Just realised how much Sterling has devalued against the Euro (jitters related to Scottish Independence I presume) - would have cost close to a grand more than last week!

Wow, think it looks brilliant and very fresh.

If I had the monies I would buy that just because. Is it still on the original tyres?

I'm slightly baffled by prices for these collectors' examples:
I was always amazed that used Vees have typically been lower than 50% of their new price. That is unheard of for an iconic one-off revered special.

But now some are changing hands for greater than new price - it just seems odd.

Puts me off driving the AY tbh...

It would have to be showroom condition with no paint or repairs to demand that price, however I have a feeling from the above comments it's not. Even the front bumpers colour is off if you look at the wings, drivers seat has wear on the edge, not much but still.

Anyone interested in purchasing this car, please do take Dulan up on his offer and make contact with him.

Interesting you say that Kett, these high priced v6s will only end up dragging up the prices across the board.

How much of a bargain does a tidy 10-12k phase one sound by comparrison!!
