Ph2 sill stickers

I’ve seen the sill stickers removed and feel the screws do need a thick sticker to cover them. I’m surprised the screws were not countersunk deeper with a cap over them (like the door handle caps) Perhaps a solution would be to use a separate small circle of vinyl over the screw then apply the new thinner stickers.

Maybe Kett but I feel a little filler over the screws ( if that's the case ) then only a vee connoisseur might spot the difference ;)
What was the price from Renault for sill stickers or Mr Dell?

Per sticker is approx £125 from Mr Dell (plus 5p commission to me).

Considerably more when Renault stocked them.

RUSSO my replica sill stickers (locally made in Australia) are about half the thickness too. The screws can’t be seen through but if I run my fingers over the stickers, I can definitely feel where the screw holes are. Never tried doing that with the original stickers though. Can you not feel the screw holes at all with original stickers?

You must be able to feel them a bit. I once had a certain company dig a screwdriver through the sticker to remove the sill !!!

Speaking to Scott when I picked up the vee, he was working with a reprographics guy to produce sill stickers. His ever quest to become a central hub for all things vee meant he's looking at alternatives for these hard to come items.

Finally got my car back after a mountain of work (cambelt, brake refurb, new discs and pads all round, Janspeed back box) and I’m gonna see about applying my French sourced sill stickers. Has anyone got measurements for their exact location on the sills?

Just wondering...
Has anybody ever managed to get the originals off without destroying them and put them back on later?

SG Motorsport has a few ‘removed’ ones from scrapped Vees. They are less than perfect.

Stephen Dell might still have some Ph2 originals to sell. I assume he acquired the Dieppe leftovers. I bought a O/S replacement from him.

Otherwise, I don’t know of anybody who’s successful removed & replaced. The reproduction ones are the next best thing.

When i remove & respray my skirts i will attempt to remove mine. I'm thinking warm them first with a heat gun then use a very thin long blade to slide along under the sticker to remove it. This is of course just a theory but i'll find out if it's viable when i get round to painting them & i'll post an update :)
