Ph2 BG on Collecting Cars

Thought I had seen [v6plaque]315[/v6plaque] advertised before: LINK

Looks like it was never owned by a v6Clio.net member.

Interesting first registration 'first registered as GRGRR 01/09/2005'...

Anyone know much more about this car..? Have read the threads above but doesn't seem to be too much on it. Reading the advert, it's only done 140 miles in the last 12 months since the last MOT - looks like it would need a little bit of TLC

Don’t know anything about it, save that it’s been on a forecourt near me. To my eyes (looking through a showroom window), it needed a little TLC - so I thought the forecourt price was a little rich.

I would’ve been happy to paw over it if anybody had asked. Looks like we wait to see how the auction pans out...

Be interesting to see how much this one goes for.
Will be a good barometer for standard colour with average miles (for a Vee)

Didn’t sell in the auction.

Buy it now price £27750

Still overpriced. I think all the values are over optimistic/greedy and should be reduced by at least £5K to start with.

Agree. However, it’s symptomatic of the modern classic market. Plenty of other mundane stuff overpriced! I’ve bemoaned this for many moons. So it’s not really the vendor’s greed.

I think the vendor failed to understand the niche market mindset. Not enough attention to detail with the preparation. It’s sited on a car forecourt that majors in sub £5k family runarounds on finance packages - so I’m not wholly surprised.

Indeed.

Really all we need on here is someone geeky to create a valuation page and then we can dump the rest of the forum. I don’t know how to do any of that, so the forum will remain for a wee while longer.
