Ph1 Shopping list - supplier help

Getting the 182 wheel offa eBay was a worthwhile exercise in the end. It allowed me to get a part number from a sticker on the inside over to Paul. It turned up at RPD yesterday, Paul took a photo and txted it to me -it's just what I wanted. 182 Trophy without CC...Perfect. The RS badge is blue (as per pic above) but Paul is sorting a silver one for it.

I do have to say that Paul has gone way beyond my expectations for customer service. He's been very patience over the last couple of weeks and has provided a sterling service.

I've been working closely with Paul over various Vee parts, he's as determined as I am to get a good result. Top work again Paul.

James - Not entirely in the know of your possible silent involvement in assisting Paul in sourcing parts for me, but credit where credit is due. Although I don't actualy have a Vee sitting on the driveway at the mo as its over at Scotts, since joining this site and trying to source bits and bobs it has been a fun, exciting and very helpful experience. Without this site I wouldn't have had a chance of finding stuff out, who to take the Vee to when poorly, and even finding two other Vee owners near by. One offering a lift-sharing service over to Scotts and the other willing to assist with some detailing.

It's really refreshing to find a site/forum and community that are made up of the most friendly bunch of peeps you'll ever know. And so to the founder, I salute you. :salut:

Yes well said Danny, thank you for your kind words, always nice to hear and makes the work I put in both at work and at home worthwhile.

I must also agree in reference to this forum. We have dealings with a few forums now but without a shadow of doubt this is by far the most enjoyable to work with and to view. Everyone I have spoke to and helped with orders etc has always been very understanding and helpful when questions need to be asked.

I have already told James if we exchange emails anymore than we do at the moment then I will have to make him a partner at RPD!!
