ph1 seats can they be made lower

Hi guys
I hope this has not been asked before but the standard ph1 seats can they be lowered on the runners.

I know most people change them for recaro's finest but I actually like the standard seats and my car is 100% standard. I would just like them to be lower as even on their lowest setting it feels like you are sat very high up.
I hope someone has modified the standard seat rails/runners etc so I can do the same.

Thanks in advance for any help

Cheers Kett

Thats a shame, what about the bit of annoying play they all seem to have, basically the the standard seats tilt backwards and forwards maybe only an inch either way(both passenger and drivers seats do this....
Any ideas on how to eradicate this?

Thanks

Not heard of play in the seats before! Will check mine, but im sure neither phase one I've had has done this.

Anyone else noticed it?

Be nice to lower the seats as standard, the v6 seats however do sit lower than the 172s thankfully!

I've owned 2 172's one from new, the other one was only 3 years ago. Neither of them had play in the seats. However this is quiet noticeable. Sorry if I'm being negative tonight, just got a few niggles with the car I need to resolve. All of which should be easily sorted

Hi guys, so after my original post it looks like the seats cannot be made lower but and i think this is very important from a safety perspective..... i had mentioned that the seats seemed to have a little play, the reason for this became apparent:

Turns out that the retaining nuts under the seats at the front had worked themselves loose a very small amount, one of these is located under the seats the other as most of you will know is located under the car.
I hope this is an isolated incident but think every one should check their seats(ph1 in my case)If the seat rocks/tilts slightly when being sat in i suggest you check you seats asap. In my case both passenger and drivers seat had the rocking motion.

Cheers.
