:race: Wow - i am suprised ! But that bodes well for the v6 Clio [smilie=yay.gif] to me that's a lot of money but - the clio v6 is worth what a single person looking for one at that time and one other is desperate with few on the market. I - when I make my mind up and really want something - I WILL pay a premium - with the clio v6 that situation is always there !! But not necessarily when I am selling mine ! Lol !! Fair play to seller (I no its not over ) I hope the buyer turns up and pays real money. I am taken aback it's gone this high - but as mentioned b4 - I hope it gets to 15k ;)
Why are you so supprised it made this much when phase 2's with the same sort of mileage are making 16 to 17 grand easy now .you do realise that phase 1's are on the up as well dont you ? I thought it would have gone for more actually, looked like a really nice one .

I know how much you can spend on the service my phase 1 had a bill of 2500 mine had 38.500 miles on it when it was done - I took that into account with my price so that puts it at 13.5 grand which for a 66 k example isn't bad imo. . I paid a lot more for my phase 2 with 20k on it so that is why I was "suprized" :salut: in ref to phase 1's going up Yes I DO ! My 39k phase one sold in 2012 for 8k a year after my major service so I think I know this :approve:

Also - imo - the phase 2 is a nicer car to have - mainly interior - we all no I'm not a speed freak so the bhp is Immaterial to me but having owned both phase 1 and 2 FOR ME it's phase 2 ;) we all have our own individual thoughts and to me the phase 2 is worth a bit more than the phase one as in my opinion again the phase 2 is 'more grown up ' it's just nicer to be in :) - I don't feel I need to be picked up on my views as they are mine - we are all entitled to our views so to sum up I think that vee went for very good money and I am glad ( as was previously stated ) I just felt in ref to previous post I had not replied in correct manner. No offence is meant I just thought the reply was a bit 'off' :( but we all have our opinions ! Lol ! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif] the world would be a sad place if we all agreed lol !!

Craigy, I share your views.
It's very easy for a lay-person to think of the Ph2 as a face-lifted Ph1 - but they are essentially different cars which share the same DNA. I don't think there is much doubt about which is the better car, but we're all in agreement that Ph1's are under-valued and offer the better investment. There have been some comments that the Ph1 values will eventually eclipse the Ph2 - this I would dispute.

However, I revere both so much that I bought one of each! : )
