Ph1 230 no.089

My old car! Has the ph2 inlet set up, but ph1 engine and cams. Full janspeed exhaust. It went like stink when I had it.

It still does! Phase 2 inlet makes huge difference. I'm the seller, it's a great car - it's just the mrs wants a Phase 2 house haha!

Well, thanks to you mentioning it up above, I managed to find the forum. The car has been in my care for a while by this point, although it has spend recent months away as I lent it to a Renault dealer for an event, and when it got there it wouldn't start. Despite their best efforts they didn't manage to get it to run again, and it is now with Scott at SG Motorsport Services (where it had been previously for work), with ECU problems.

I will say though, this car was a case of meeting one of my heroes, and it doesn't disappoint. I bloody love it.

Just thought I'd post on here to see if there were any suggestions. The V6 was fitted with an aftermarket Dastek ECU by Scott at SG a decade ago, and more. recently that ECU was blown. Scott removed that for me and got the car running again (and tidied it all up), on the original ECU. However, it still needs a different ECU to run properly and make the most of the modifications. Scott understandably doesn't want to take on ECU tuning work as it is a lot of work and time for very little reward. So, I'm looking for recommendations for companies that can supply, fit and set up a new ECU for this specific car. Has anyone used someone that they would recommend? Thanks!

Have you thought about contacting Litchfield Motors in Gloucestershire?

They offer bespoke solutions and may be worth an enquiry.

I’m guessing they will signpost you to another specialist if your needs are not with their remit...
