hi how much roughly for a rear bumper respray and a drivers door?

Around £120 per panel depending on condition, its quite hard to price jobs without seeing them.
the bumper is quite badly scuffed on the corners it looks like the previous guy drove through a gap that was 2 small and the door has a few dents but no rust and the paint is starting to peel by the window rubber

The paint will start to peel by the weather strip on the door because some people dont take it off when re-painting, believe it or not some insurance companys will not pay for it to be taken off which is a bit of a joke. Are the dents near the edges of the door next to the quaterpanel or wing edge, how big are they? If to close then you have to go in to the next panel for the colour to look right

the dents are actually by the bumpstrip near the wing and a few dinks in the middle of the door and also a few paintwork chips by the handle and lock

Without seeing it I would price for the worst case in having to paint wing, door and quater and bumper £400. If the dent by the wing would come out by paintless dent removal it would be a bit cheaper.

That seems like a good deal to me as the back quarter has some scratches on it and so does the wing on that side, the guy that owned the naples before me was a bit brutal! i cant afford to have it done at the mo but will in a couple of months!

I have been in the bodywork trade for over ten years and am pissed off with working for other people so I have decided to go it alone . I have a workshop with a booth and all other body shop facilities and am talking to a guy who specializes in carbon fibre, carbon kevlar and glass fibre to hopefully see if we can work together on designing and making some new products. For any of you who are intrested in anything body work related no matter how big or small give me a shout and I will be more than happy to help.

Jon.

You could have a go yourself, try a local paint supplier or a motor factors and they will put the colour you need in an arsehole can, make sure you use some where warm clean and dry and dont go piling the paint on, try to be as uniform with each stroke as you can.
