performance filter

will this fit a 19 1.8 16v aswell as clio 1.8 16v?

clio 1.8 16v ram air filter on eBay (end time 06-Mar-10 16:29:27 GMT)

Get yourself a decent filter that fits in your air box, these exposed ones are crap as they are taking in hot air from the engine bay, hot air is bad for performance as it is more dense than cold air. Take a car (especially a turbo one) out at night when its nice and cold and you'll notice a big difference.

thanks. After posting this i went on the ramair site. The ones that fit the standard air box is what i'm after, i didn't realise this one didn't do that. It isn't clear which product code is for the 19 16v but i'll call to place an order. Thanks for the reply

Induction kits arent all bad if setup right, if you fit the filter low down where its going to get loads of air, and run a pipe from it to the intake or if you fit a heatshield and a decent cold air duct into it you should see some gains
