Just watched this on youtube !! Mental lol :race: Fair play to you - fastest car on there ?? looked like it I just don't know how you can do it  I suppose this is how to drive a Vee ! Rest assured mine won't be ! lol !! Much respect from me :salut:
Superb pace their Carl! I think the only time anybody was pulling away from you was fleetingly when you had Duncan's Trophy ahead of you on the grid straight!
Thanks for the comments guys. I watched an instructor giving a lesson at Goodwood on YouTube beforehand and also had my 1st session with Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams to reaffirm the racing line. The car just seemed to be really well hooked up and I really enjoyed the flowing nature of the circuit. The track markers really helped to ensure that I knew when to brake and turn in.
You are right Andy I did notice Duncan's Trophy pulling away on the grid straight, but it did seem a little skittish as it came to the top of Madgwick (the 1st corner). If you look at my video at around 70mins you will see the Trophy's backend step out slightly.
I think that was just me looking for the indicator to let you past and not looking at the track
I locked the rear wheels up a few times coming into madgwick, think it's was a combination of bumpy surface, surface rust on discs (which had gone after that session) and brake bias being adjusted up for slicks.
Would be great fun to spend a day tinkering with it all.
