Original front shocks Mk1 have given up

I just found out that my original shocks in front seems to have given up. A small sound when i go over curbs indicates that something is not right with em.

What type of aftermarket shocks does the users here use on their Mk1 and Mk2?

I have looked on the Bilstein PSS9, anyone here that uses them?

Are you certain that your shocks have gone? I know I'm not alone why I say that my shocks have always made a subtle noise since new!

What is It called hmmmm not curbs but small bumps in the road.

When you drive the car at tracks you often take the corners a little bit on the curbs 8) Second is the first looser [smilie=icon_clown.gif]
