Silly question...Does yours sit flush? I.e not at an angle which would suggest it's not on properly??!
 
Yes sure does, As if one end doesn't push in fully. I've spent hourse at the petrol pump trying to get it flush...

I may have got this completly worng [smilie=hide.gif] did you mean oil or petrol??
 
Mine doesnt sit flush either Ali - have spent many a time seeing if its on wrong, etc but no always seems to slant slightly.

@ Mace - my petrol cap doesnt fit flush either - never has since i bought it :s

Its amazing how the little things nag at us...
 
i made my petrol cap sit flush by undoing the allen keys to remove the outer circle then put some fiber washers on the underneath of it to bring it out away from the car. when you put the petrol cap back on it sits closer to the outer ring looks alot better.
