had mine a week and one just went (in the garage just now). Suppose it could be worse, it could have a weak headgasket like my old 106 gti

It turned out to be coil no.4 that has now been replaced.
I've written a letter to Renault UK saying that if I have another failure during the warranty period I will be collating all the evidence on this site and taking it to Watchdog.
Fingers crossed they will respond by changing my remaining coils.
