Odometer in Km?

Sarria

New Member
Just got my new Ph2 Clio. I've realised that the speedo is mainly in miles and smaller in Km but the odometer is in miles.

I've been serching in the user's manual and in the website but can't find anything. Is there a way to change from the console from miles to km and consumption from mpg to l/100km?

Some info from the technical manaul.

You can still know what it comsumes in MPG and do some simple maths.
I'm pretty certain these's on 'on line' calculator somewhere for that conversion.

I'm going to ask, why do you want to change it?

Well good question, I'm Spanish and I prefer the information in the way I've always been used to.

In my Civic I can just change it by pressing one button by the dashboard!

First I get used to the pounds, then the inches and now the miles! British are so different to the rest, just like the Vee ;)

I just open this question again,

I have now a odometer that reads in mph. It is a Clio V6 Ph1. If i would change the odometer to an Km/h one. Can i take this from a Clio 172 ?

Does it reads for example the rev limiter the same. 4cylinder and 6cylinder change ?

Can i maybe even change it to a PH2 182 dashboard to get the new ph2 design ?

I can only give you some information I have available.

The Ph1 Clio 172 has 5 different makes/manufacturers listed for the instruments!

Part numbers are different

Kilom Ph1 v6 8200054435
Kilom Ph2 v6 8200261120
Kilom Ph2 182 8200261088

Funny, if i search google on the first partnr "Ph1 v6". I found it on the Swedish sparepart pages as an Clio sport 172 tacometer, :D

80pound for a swedish one. Now the question is. Does a 182 Ph2 odometer fit aswell without modding the dashboard ?

I answer my own question, the Ph 2 odometer does not fit. If i look at the pictures it look diffrent on the housing :/

So i rather buy a Clio sport 172 meter and fit.

Thanks James :)
