Hi all,

as you probably know i have just got a Vee, I live in Barrrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. The cambelt will need doing in febuary ! Where is the best place too take it ? I have read about Manor garage Chester is this a good garage ?

I have just joined the club as a full member !! I will probably take my car too Sunwin ! Just not sure about buying the cambelt kit myself what exactly do you need and what is the full price for fitting and buying the kit ??

so I would need too buy all of this ?? and then pay for the labour ? The cluctch should not need doing as the car has only done 13000miles

Hey sam....i know a good place that i have used a few times. A couple of other members have recently been intouch with him re cambelts etc and im sure will be willing to give feedback. His name is Andrew Walker at Motech solutions in Ledsham which is on the Wirral. Pm me if you want his number

Hey Sam

I got mine done at Sunwin Preston in July, can not fault the place, they done a great job. If you get in touch with Matt on here (who helped me) he will give you contact details for the right guy, think he was called Gary.
I got my cambelt kit, Aux & water pump changed and also the 2yr/24k service carried out. The work took nealry 2 full working days and they provided me with courtesy car. I bought all the parts myself and the guys at Sunwin fitted them, I got all the relevant stamps needed in my service book, the total price was just a few pounds over £1k.

Hi Sam,

Give me a shout if you want more info about Sunwin. Mine is due to go in to them next March for the cambelt, service and MOT and a few members on here have used them now.
