There's a marked difference between them, but not a huge one. The ph2 is a more rounded car, but they are still basically the same car. Both have their plus points, you wouldn't be disappointed with one or the other.

Most people who join raise the same questions you do, have a read through!

Alot of people have miss informed views on the handling. They are not an ideal track car, but if your a good driver they make good pace. You do have to take it easy in the wet, but they are not dangerous. Also, it seems to be the ph2 that more people end up spinning.

a late reply for this one, but i agree with all that is said, the last statement though, is it really more PH2 cars that spin or is it that there is more of them??

In no way is that scooby an evo 400. 4 wheel drive launch vs bogging down rear wheel drive (see some of the big power monaros trying to launch...). As for mid range, once on boost.....

I'm not even an evo fan (too tech fest) but seriously comparing a 255 ph1 to an evo 400 in performance terms is pointless.

Sorry been unclear, Not meant to be a 400, just a vid i found when first looking to buy.

Not really up to speed (pardon the pun) with Scooby's but remember this Vee getting a good jump on it.

It impressed me......... Easy pleased.

the only reason i said it is that i can remember various threads and tales where people have lost their ph2 in seemingly normal driving conditions, but never heard the same of the ph1.

im not claiming that ph2s are worse, just seem that people seem to spin ph2's more! :)

bentley continental gt- won

He wasn't trying trust me!
hi
it was lights to lights i know if he was going 50 then we put our foot down he whould blow me away

Mate - no matter what the circumstances he would blow you away. Those things have 550bhp as a minimum and 4wd. A vee, even a 'modded' one would not see which way it went if the guy was trying!! Same story with an evo fq400, or even a fq360, the v6 would be like a lamb to slaughter
