My Renault 5 1.7 GTX ... Help needed

Hi

I have just started restoring a Renault 5 GTX ( i had one as a teenager, so thought it was a good idea to get one now im 40!). It is is generally good condition, except for the drivers Sills. It is a 5 door, does anyone know where to get sills for a 5 door, or can the 3 door ones be cut to shape, assuming i only need the lower sections? Im hoping that because there are skirts, it wont need to be a totally factory finish if i cut up the sills.

Any ideas/thoughts?

I know the 5 door is about 100mm longer found this out trying to fit a 3 door exhaust to a 5door back in the day .

Good call ... does anyone know the sill length of a 3 door, and i can compare it

I thought GT Turbo 3 door sills were available from EuroCarParts?

yes, 3 door sills are easy to get, but i cant find 5 door. unless there are other suggestions, i think all i can do it cut up a 3 door sill?

I'd save the time looking for a 5 Door and get busy with the grinder on a 3 door sill
