New Member
Hi everyone,

I've not long signed up here and I'm enjoying browsing through the threads.

I thought I'd best get some pictures up of My Megane 225 track car. The cars currently for sale but I'm using it and maintaining it as intended until it does sell.

A little run down of the spec':

Its a Black Gold Megane 225 weighing in at 1236KG down from Renaults quoted 1375kg (It had just under a full tank of fuel in it at that weight too)

Engine/Gearbox

293bhp and 310ft/ld. (RS Tuning mapped) roughly 237bhp/ton (standard 163bhp/ton)
Seimens 630cc injectors (provided and fitted by RS Tuning when it was mapped)
RS Tuning/ Helix clutch and SMF kit (roughly 2k miles old, possibly less!)
Genuine R26.R gearbox (LSD & short shift as standard with .R gearbox)
Standard 225 gearbox as a spare
KTR hybrid turbo
KTR front mounted intercooler
BMC panel filter (with ‘air box mod’)
Full Milltek exhaust system with Milltek de-cat
New genuine Renault engine and gearbox mounts
Bonnet latch & cable removed and replaced with Aero Catches

Chassis

KW V3 with custom stiffer and lower springs
Powerflex black series rear beam bushes and front anti roll bar bushes
New standard engine and gearbox mounts
8xR26 (4 anthracite & 4 orange) wheels & 6 Yokohama AD08r tyres
DS300 Pads on the front and standard rear pads
GodSpeed 330mm brake kit
Pure Motorsport spacers (5mm)
Wheel stud and nut kit
It’s currently at the workshop having the suspension alignment check and set-up, however it needs new lower arms first (bushes are a bit far gone) so we are waiting on these from Renault

Interior

Genuine RenaultSport/Sabelt Clio Cup Racer side mounts
Cobra Imola Pro seats
Stripped interior
KTR/Oreca 4 point harnesses
Back window and the back quarter windows are Lexan plastic (rear window wiper removed)

Cheers guys, it certainly goes well.

Orange wheels look ace! How come you're selling it?

I've another car coming in September which will mean the Megane's going to get very little use other than on a full trackday where you can get away with using a couple of cars. I'd rather it was being used more than it will be soon instead of sitting in our yard.
