Yeah, my poor Vee had yet another disaster in the boot!! lol The car was performing brilliantly. I was really suprised how much you can get it drifting comfortably on a track with out going out of its limits. That was all until I got a burning smell with out any smoke though. After a few laps of it, my eyes started to water over heavily and my nose streaming like a hosepipe.......I couldn't see a thing!!! Lmao. In the end I pulled in to the pits early, opened the boot and discovered the the insulation, carpet and a cusion smoldering and not too far from igniting. Ive yet to have a closer look but I'm pretty sure the collector pipe/cat is either cracked or badly damaged. Luckly,good ol' Bill Patchall has helped me out with a decent one tonight. I also bought some Janspeed decat manifolds off Fleebay earlier so a complete new Janspeed system is on the cards very soon..........Quicksilver Supersport anyone??

He almost had another 'boot insident' when a few of us got back to his house on the way back home... In the form of a boot up the back-side from his Mother for being so silly and burning 2 of her cushions!! Lol... [smilie=icon_clown.gif]

All in all, it was a great weekend and meeting! Reminded me of FCS's gone past.. so much better than the last 2 years. Thankyou Mark for listening to our requests and taking them on-board. Still room for improvement though, mainly the girl on the mic. in the arena. How about someone that knows a bit about cars, and doesnt talk to the crowd in such a condecending manner? As previously mentioned also, more trade stands please!

Our night out in Kettering was good fun, especially as it looked like the evening was going to pass us by at one point.. lol [smilie=icon_cyclops_ani.gif] Emma, those hick-ups were a real pain in the wotsit I can tell you.. only managed to stop them in the reception/bar area with a glass of water, drunk upside down.. lol.. poor Peter looked on with great scepticism.. but it rarely fails to stop hick-ups.. :wink:

Well done to James for getting it all organised and checking out our plot on the Saturday too..!! [smilie=icon_cheers.gif] also to David, who can always be seen but not heard, thank you. Well done to everyone who was able to attend, and to Ray for winning best Scouse Black/Gold.. hehe.. keep up the good work fella!

Sorry I wasnt around towards the end to say cheerio to most people, by the time we got back from watching Godber doing his own little take on a burnout most of you had gone!.. lol I never even got to chat to Janelle, sorry!!
