multiple miss fire

Hi, the car starts, idles and revs up on 6 cylinders fine. But once it is under load, ie pulling put of the drive it, it starts to miss fire. I suspected the coils, bit I've fitted 6 new coils and still the same problem.
It is always the front bank of cylinders that is the problem.
The car it totally standard spec mk1. It was running fine last time I used it, but has not been used for 4 months.
Anyone else had a similar issue?

Could be rusted fuel pump ie you need to keep the car above 2 gallons of fuel otherwise pump rusts to bits! I should know cos my car sat on dealers forecourt with low fuel and had similar misfires

You need a clip to check the fuel pressures eg it won't flag as a normal computer fault

Otherwise check oxygen sensors which would flag on the ecu
