Just got back from Motec Solutions ! I am picking the car up on Friday, I cant fault the service, drove the car down got a full explanation of the job and got a lift too the nearest train station.

I am expecting pictures of the job being done tomorrow and a phone call of how it is going. I will put up a full review when I receive the car back on Friday .

Cheers Sam

This the Chester based firm??

If so Phill (double"l") reported back no problems at all and seemed very pleased :approve:

Just got back from getting the cambelt done at motec everything went well and is now sorted.

I cant recommend them highly enough !

Some pictures when the cambelt and water pump where changed.

Water pump removed. The circular hole is where the pump sits inside, partially under the engine mount.

Cambelt tensioner and the plate its sat on ( the brass bolt sticking out is what the tensioner sits on) this hole plate is replaced with the tensioner. You can also see the belt removed from 2 of the pulleys(one being the camshaft de-phaser (the bigger one))

Two pulleys without the belt on this is also the other de-phaser.
